The TB Alliance appreciates the generous support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Irish Aid, the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGIS), the Rockefeller Foundation, the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID), and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The TB Alliance has a diverse donor base comprising private foundations and enterprises, governments, multilateral donors, and individuals. Since its inception in 2000, the TB Alliance has received pledges for more than $250 million in financial contributions. Additionally, generous in-kind contributions from its partners have enabled the TB Alliance to substantially augment its R&D investment.

More Support is Needed for a Better Cure Despite the generous support of its donors, the TB Alliance estimates that it still needs over $100 million in funding over the next three years to sustain its planned projects. Additionally, given the inherent uncertainty of drug development, the TB Alliance must continually reinforce its drug portfolio with promising new compounds. Every contribution to the TB Alliance is vital and accelerates the development of essential new TB cures.
