Board of Directors
The Board assumes fiduciary responsibility for the TB Alliance and guides its business strategy, actions, and budget. A Chief Executive Officer leads the organization and is a member of the Board.

The Board consists of thirteen directors, elected for staggered three-year terms, and represents government agencies, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, private foundations, and non-governmental organizations.

An elected member of the Stakeholders Association serves as an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors.

The Global Alliance for TB Drug Development is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization recognized under section 501(c)3 of the United States Revenue Code; contributions are tax-deductible in the United States. The Alliance is also registered in the Annex of the Belgian State Gazette for non-profit organizations, as of February 28, 2002.
